Is Baseline an antiperspirant?
No, Baseline is not an antiperspirant. Instead, Baseline works as a deodorant to control odor and reduce wetness, without impacting your body’s natural functions.

What is the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant?
Antiperspirants use aluminum to act as a plug for your body’s sweat ducts to prevent sweating. Deodorant works naturally to reduce odor caused by sweating, without plugging your sweat ducts, allowing your body to breathe.

Does Baseline control sweat?
Baseline utilizes arrowroot powder, which is naturally highly absorbent to help reduce sweat while also being gentle on skin.

Does Baseline control odor?
Yes! Baseline utilizes a blend of fruit enzymes to keep odor in check—naturally.

Does Baseline require a transition period?
As with any deodorant switch, especially to a more natural formulation, please allow up to 2 weeks for your armpits to adjust to Baseline. If you’ve been using an antiperspirant, it may take up to 4 weeks for your armpits to adjust to a non-aluminum formula. When switching from an antiperspirant, you may experience an increase in sweat temporarily.

Does Baseline have a scent?
Our first Baseline scent, FRESH, is a light unisex scent inspired by our love of summer and brought to life with grounded citrus notes and a hint of jasmine. Our ingredients are all fully disclosed—no mystery “fragrance” here!

Does Baseline stain clothing?
No! Baseline goes on clear—none of those dreaded white streaks or staining here!

I have a baking soda sensitivity—can I use this deodorant?
Absolutely! Baseline is sensitive-skin friendly — no baking soda or aluminum here. Baseline is made with a vegan blend of seed oils and plant extracts so it’s gentle enough for the sensitive skin of your underarms.

Is Baseline aluminum-free?
Baseline is 100% aluminum-free!

Is Baseline gluten-free?
Baseline is gluten-free!

Is the packaging sustainable?
Yes! Baseline’s packaging utilizes Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic and is re-usable again and again thanks to the refill sticks! Both the outer case and refill tube are made with Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) plastic, and the paper carton for the refill stick is made from Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFR)-certified paper.

Is Baseline cruelty-free?
Like all Kinfield products, Baseline is Made Safe for People + Planet™ and is proudly vegan, cruelty-free, Leaping Bunny certified, and formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances.

What is the shelf life of Baseline?
We recommend opening Baseline within one year of purchasing, and using within one year of opening.
