Moisturizing

We added Sea Kelp Extract because we love how wildly beneficial it is to your skin. It instantly helps to moisturize and brighten, while also being a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins and lipids for the skin.
Aloe Vera

Soothing

We love this soothing ingredient that works to calm and hydrate skin! It is especially helpful any time when your skin might be exposed to the sun or other environmental stressors—making it a perfect choice for including in an SPF.
Glycerin

Hydrating

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it's a moisturizing powerhouse. It deeply hydrates skin, while helping to reduce future moisture loss, and leaves behind a dewy finish.
Zinc

Protective

Zinc Oxide acts as a physical shield against UVA and UVB rays (in other words: it protects your skin from sunburn!). We use reef-safe, non-nano zinc oxide at 20%—the sweet spot within the recommended percentage range of 10-25% for proper protection.

Are you sure it won't leave a white cast? Even on darker skin tones?

We tested and trialed Cloud Cover on a variety of skin tones to ensure it would melt in without leaving behind a trace. It is an untinted mineral sunscreen, so it will appear white out of the tube. However, once applied and blended in, it melts easily into the skin to leave only a dewy finish behind—no white cast in sight!

Well, I think I've finally found the best SPF!

I use sunscreen religiously every single day. Therefore, I prefer physical to chemical SPFs. I've used MANY over the years. Often, they are sticky, greasy, or leave a white cast that has me looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost. This one, however, lived up to the hype! When I first put it on, there's a slight white cast, but it quickly dissipates after it's had a few minutes to soak in. Best of all, it's very clean! 10/10!

Trustworthy SPF

So far so good! Using it mainly on my face. I like the consistency and it goes onto the skin nicely , even under makeup. It does have that sunscreen smell but I don’t mind it because of the clean ingredients used. It’s a tough job!! I would love to see biodegradable/compostable packaging in the future <3
