We added Sea Kelp Extract because we love how wildly beneficial it is to your skin. It instantly helps to moisturize and brighten, while also being a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins and lipids for the skin.
Aloe Vera

We love this soothing ingredient that works to calm and hydrate skin! It is especially helpful any time when your skin might be exposed to the sun or other environmental stressors—making it a perfect choice for including in an SPF.
Glycerin
Hydrating
Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it's a moisturizing powerhouse. It deeply hydrates skin, while helping to reduce future moisture loss, and leaves behind a dewy finish.

Protective
Zinc Oxide acts as a physical shield against UVA and UVB rays (in other words: it protects your skin from sunburn!). We use reef-safe, non-nano zinc oxide at 20%—the sweet spot within the recommended percentage range of 10-25% for proper protection.

Like all Kinfield products, Cloud Cover SPF 35 is Made Safe for People and Planet™ and formulated to be vegan, cruelty free, and made without parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. This SPF is also made without PEGs or phenoxyethanol.
FAQs
We tested and trialed Cloud Cover on a variety of skin tones to ensure it would melt in without leaving behind a trace. It is an untinted mineral sunscreen, so it will appear white out of the tube. However, once applied and blended in, it melts easily into the skin to leave only a dewy finish behind—no white cast in sight!
We (and the FDA) recommend re-applying every two hours. However, if you’re swimming, surfing, or generally splashing around in water, then we recommend re-applying every 80 minutes or as soon as you dry off. Cloud Cover is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes.
Yes! The formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky feel on your skin. Your kids (and you!) will love it.

This product is made entirely from recyclable materials.
Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Plastic Tube
Made from post-consumer recycled plastic, this tube and cap can be recycled along with your other plastic items. Be sure to cut open the tube and remove any remaining product residue, then re-attach the cap before recycling.
Paper Box (4 oz Size Only)
Made from SFI-certified paperstock, this box can be recycled along with your other paper products.
So far so good! Using it mainly on my face. I like the consistency and it goes onto the skin nicely , even under makeup. It does have that sunscreen smell but I don’t mind it because of the clean ingredients used. It’s a tough job!! I would love to see biodegradable/compostable packaging in the future <3

I was skeptical at first because I feel like all zinc sunscreens leave your skin with a white residue that’s hard to rub in, but not this one. It went on smooth and protected me from the Hawai’i sun. This is my new go to sunscreen!
