Moisturizing

We added Sea Kelp Extract because we love how wildly beneficial it is to your skin. It instantly helps to moisturize and brighten, while also being a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins and lipids for the skin.
Aloe Vera

Soothing

We love this soothing ingredient that works to calm and hydrate skin! It is especially helpful any time when your skin might be exposed to the sun or other environmental stressors—making it a perfect choice for including in an SPF.
Glycerin

Hydrating

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it's a moisturizing powerhouse. It deeply hydrates skin, while helping to reduce future moisture loss, and leaves behind a dewy finish.
Zinc

Protective

Zinc Oxide acts as a physical shield against UVA and UVB rays (in other words: it protects your skin from sunburn!). We use reef-safe, non-nano zinc oxide at 20%—the sweet spot within the recommended percentage range of 10-25% for proper protection.

Are you sure it won't leave a white cast? Even on darker skin tones?

We tested and trialed Cloud Cover on a variety of skin tones to ensure it would melt in without leaving behind a trace. It is an untinted mineral sunscreen, so it will appear white out of the tube. However, once applied and blended in, it melts easily into the skin to leave only a dewy finish behind—no white cast in sight!

Love this suncream!

It does a great job and prevents me from getting burned. I also notice that there is not a white cast and I am using it starting in the second trimester of pregnancy :) I also love the smell and texture.

Love this sunscreen! It feels so good going on and leaves no white cast. No strong smell and it works really well. Came back and got the big tube. The absolute best Zinc-based sunscreen I’ve ever used!

I’m picky about sunscreen. I don’t want the chemicals and I want it to be reef friendly. It also needs to rub in clear. This Cloud Cover is everything! It rubs in easily, and clear. Great ingredients and very effective. I just wish it wasn’t so pricey because we go through through sunscreen like crazy in the summer.
